  • Arrival
    Please inform us of how you will arrive so that we can meet you at the airport, rail station, hotel etc.
    Please give details such as flight numbers and exact arrival time.
  • Dietary Requirements
    Please inform us if you have any food allergies or other special dietary requirements.
  • Walking Disabilities
    Please inform us if you have any walking difficulties or problems with stairs.     
  • Sun cream, sunglasses & hats
    Please remember to bring sun cream, sunglasses and perhaps a hat too - particularly during May - September.
  • Insect repellent
    You may also wish to bring an insect repellent to put on your arms and legs in the evening, particularly during July, August & September.
  • Swimming Pool
    You may fancy a dip in the pool during your stay so remember your bathing attire.
  • Clothing
    Casual.
    Informal for dinner.
    Aprons supplied for painting.
    April, October - less changeable - warm. Mixed clothes.
    May, June, September - very warm & sunny. Summer clothes.
    July & August - hot & sunny. Summer clothes.

  • Art Materials
    No need to bring anything. Everything you need for the course is supplied. If however you want to bring some of your own materials you are welcome to.
  • Transporting pictures home
    No need to bring anything. We supply flat boxes incuded in the course fee.
  • Course notes & photos
    Please feel free to record as much information as you wish. We will also take around 300 photos of the course including step by step photos of the demonstrations and put everything onto a course CD which will be sent to you after the course. (Included in the course fee).
  • Shopping
    Vence old town has a lot of very interesting shops just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Supermarkets, restaurants and banks are all in the town centre.
  • Breakfast, lunch & dinner
    All are included in the course from your arrival on Saturday or Sunday (depending on your course) dinner through to breakfast the following Saturday or Sunday - except Wednesday evening dinner which is a free evening to give yo the opportubity to do as you wish.
